The Decatur Regional Chamber of Commerce is pleased to coordinate ribbon cuttings to celebrate new business openings, anniversaries, expansions, and other significant milestones.

To ensure adequate time for planning and promotion, ribbon cutting requests must be submitted a minimum of three (3) weeks before the requested event date. A completed ribbon cutting request form (see below), filled out in its entirety, along with a high-resolution logo, must be submitted for the request to be considered. This timeframe allows us to prepare for the event and extend invitations to our members, ambassadors, and city officials.

Ribbon cuttings are scheduled on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at either 11:30 AM or 4:30 PM, based on availability.*

We support your celebration at every stage, promoting the event via email and social media beforehand and providing the 1931 ceremonial scissors and a framed Certificate of Recognition on the day. Review the graphic below for the full breakdown.
