If you're looking for tips and tools to trim your organization's energy bills, look no further than Ameren Illinois' 2012 ActOnEnergy® Business Symposium. Attendees at the third annual event will walk away with practical ideas for reducing waste and cutting costs, as well as a 15 percent bonus coupon that could be worth thousands more in energy efficiency upgrades.
Scheduled for May 8 at the Collinsville Gateway Center and May 9 at the Bloomington-Normal Marriott Hotel & Conference Center, the ActOnEnergy Business Symposium is free for businesses of all sizes, as well as churches, nonprofits, governments and educational entities. Attendees will learn about energy-saving incentives, no-cost and low-cost tools to reduce waste, and the latest upgrades in lighting, refrigeration, motors, HVAC and more.
Bill LeBlanc of Boulder Energy Group will deliver the keynote address, then attendees will have the opportunity to attend breakout sessions covering lighting, HVAC, compressed air, energy management systems, retro commissioning, steam systems, boiler tune-ups and replacements, ENERGY STAR portfolio manager and more. Breakout sessions will be organized into industry-specific tracks, providing custom information for:
- Small businesses, nonprofits and churches
- Large commercial organizations, including hospitals
- Large industrial companies
- Governments and public entities
A trade show featuring Ameren Illinois registered Program Allies is also part of the event. Continental breakfast and lunch are both included, and attendees will receive Continuing Education Units for participating.
