Decatur Leadership Institute Participants to Present Projects

Decatur, IL -The 2011-2012 Decatur Leadership Institute (DLI) Program participants will present their team projects during the monthly Chamber Business Breakfast on Wednesday, January 4th at the Decatur Club at 7:00 a.m. The meeting will feature three team project presentations that address issues our community is currently facing.

The DLI class was divided into 3 teams and each team picked a project to complete and present including: a Decatur community calendar, the Decatur Park District Ampitheatre Design/Plan options and a DLI Alumni directory on LinkedIn. Project options included: expanding on a group project from last year's class, starting a new project or choosing a DLI focused project.

These projects are intended to be needs based, planned with a long-term scope, self-sustainable and to make a positive impact on our community.
