Chamber Announces Office Relocation

Decatur, IL - The Greater Decatur Chamber of Commerce is moving its office space to 132 South Water Street, Suite 103 on the first floor of the Millikin Court Building on Thursday, November 18th, 2010. 

  "This is a move that we have been anticipating and are very excited about," said Christine Pinckard, Interim President for the Greater Decatur Chamber of Commerce. "The new space has allowed us to incorporate a membership hall that will provide several uses and added benefits to our members."

The new office space is owned and being remodeled by Chamber member, Romano Company and will provide significantly more square footage than the Chamber's current office space. The remodel is expected to be completed by January 1st, 2011. During the renovation, the Chamber will occupy temporary offices in the new location.

During the two-day move on November 18th and 19th, tickets for the 58th Annual Community Thanksgiving Luncheon can be purchased with cash or check through the Decatur Civic Center Box office. Box office hours are 12:00-6:00 pm Monday through Friday and can be reached by calling 217-6161. Tickets can also be purchased with a credit card online through the Chamber website here.

The Chamber is expecting a smooth transition and asks that all correspondence be remitted to the new location beginning November 18th.
