Payroll Tax Holiday to be Signed into Law
March 18, 2010The Senate passed the Hiring Incentives to Restore Employment bill (the HIRE Act) on St.Patrick's Day, but employers will be in luck for the rest of the year as the President is expected to sign the bill today. If you are looking to add new employees this year, the government is willing to ease the payroll tax burden for certain new hires added between February 3, 2010 and the end of the year.
