- TODAY (MARCH 10): Information meeting on the Energy Coop from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Decatur Club's third floor conference room. (158 West Prairie in downtown Decatur). Final call for new member applications for electricity and natural gas service and for participants in the 1st and 3rd rounds who must sign a new contract or return to Ameren's default rate. The next enrollment period won't be held until fall. Oil is back up over $80 a barrel now, so electric rates will be on the rise. Don't miss out on your chance to lock in lower rates.
- MARCH 31: Ameren's CFL light bulb challenge ends March 30th. Chamber businesses with a Delivery Service Rate of DS-2 may purchase CFL bulbs starting at 50 cents via Act on Energy's® Small Business Online Store.
