This year our keynote speaker, Chicago-based author Amanda Thomsen, is sure to have you laughing with delight as she approaches gardening with her light-hearted attitude. Amanda’s playful approach, Felco pruners tattoo and signature black-rimmed cat’s eye glasses will show you that gardening is an adventure. She will have you looking beyond the norm and embracing the what that makes you who you are. Amanda Thomsen’s book, Kiss My Aster, will be available for purchase. She will be available to sign books immediately after her presentation. During our lunch sessions, we are featuring speaker Connor Shaw from Possibility Place in Monee.
